Modernizing the 3d models

In order to get this project off the ground, we had to provide a vision of what this remake could look like. Reviewing the original PS1 models straight from the original disks, we created a modern version of the default player craft, known as the Hex, from the second game. This was to set a bar for the look of our remake.

Q: Are you actually rebuilding all of the assets from scratch?

A: Yes, everything is being rebuilt from the ground up. Models, effects, engine, AI. Here is an example:
